Eff You See Kay [11 Dec 2008|01:51am]
With the reinstatement of my Netflix account and the celebration of my new 32" HD TV in my room, I've decided to take the IMDb challenge with this list dated 12/11/08. 2004
Thanksgiving draws to a close and family is what it's all about in the end. It's sad to say goodbye, especially to people we love. The holidays are a time to come together and make sure you hold on to the ones you love and remember why we love them so much. Everything is going by so fast. I remember when September was creeping by, but now I look and Christmas will be here soon, and the year will change right after. Soon, I won't be able to carry my little cousins. It makes me sad to think about the future and about the holiday season. I just wish I had someone to place my love to. I mean I know someone who I'd love to focus my holiday on. But I don't think they'd accept it. Yea, I don't know what I'm trying to say. This was a nice Thanksgiving and it's nice to have the family together. It's nice to feel love.

I Jon de Lima, on this Thanksgiving, am thankful for:
All of my friends, (you know who you are), my wonderful new bestfriends (John, Ryan, Jenn, Russ, Jess the j00), my veteran friends that have always stuck it with me through everything, and even though some of us are losing touch (Ashley, Derek, Dylan, Sam), my awesome family through thick and thin, you guys can find that smile on my face, more specifically, my father, for all his gifts and time and effort on helping my music progress, my mother for all the care and the times she was hard on me for doing good on my school work (it definetly pays off), my brother for always being there when I need a friend to hang out with and always teaching me something new, and finally I am just overall thankful to have such a great family. We have the best times together and holidays are what they are because of you guys. And I think that's what holidays are about, just spending time, and having a laugh together.

I hope all of your Thanksgivings were as wonderful and I hope none of you lose touch on what love is. I hope we all can stay close this holiday season and I hope to find you again. I have the love you need and I want you to have it.

And I'm such a loser because this entry made me cry. Heh, oh well. This time of year always gets me like that.

I love you guys, and Flower, I miss you so much, you're the best cousin ever, and I wish you could come visit more often.

Happy Thanksgiving

2005
This year, I'm thankful for a lot of things. I'm thankful for the increase in my ability to focus. My grades have significantly gone up and I'm doing well on other projects I've taken upon. I'm thankful for whatever has happened the past two months that has made my heart more giving and caring. I may not admit it, but I'm always thinking about the soup kitchen and other people out there who are less needy. I constantly think about my friends hoping they're okay where they are. I'm thankful for finally being able to see the truth in people and not being so afraid to lose someone who does nothing positive for me. I no longer feel a need to keep a group of people or mentors for security. I have found my own security in myself. I'm thankful for finding my religion and having an outlet for my beliefs. I try to go to church every Sunday and I pray for continuance of my peace and my mind and forgiveness of my sins. This may sound crazy but I think it works.
Now for some of the basics. I'm thankful for my family. They've always been there since day one, and spending time with them gets more precious everyday. We finished out Star Wars marathon last night, and it's definetly something I'm always gonna remember. I'm thankful for my mom and dad's endless financial loans that I'm still working on paying back. Without them I wouldn't have my computers, guitar, xbox, and all the fun stuff we take for granted. I'm thankful for my brother Jason, who never seizes to amaze me. He's always helping me and the crew out with videos and music and that's awesome, because other siblings don't get along that well. I'm thankful for everyone else in my family just for the good times they bring. Waking up this morning and hearing that's they're on their way gives me excitement and I get all jumpy because it's always a good time to be home with them.
One last thing I'm super thankful for are my friends and new acquaintences that have come along the way. I've known Roger for a while, but I never really got to know him and we've had some good talks and connections so far and it's only November. Same thing with Paul, never really got to know him but look at us now, who else is gonna fight lightsabers with me? And Brian, what else is there to say there. We make the best movies ever. Other mentions, Ken, Joe, Canada, Alfredo, Sky, Emily, and Katie, you're all awesome. And finally, last but not least. I'm thankful for meeting a certain Ashley Galante. Thank you for giving me a new outlook on life. Honestly, 75% of the reason why I've probably gone through such a change is due to her. Although we may not be together, she's always in my thoughts, no one has impacted me as much as she has. All my new songs I've written that promise peace and love and hope, they all came from her.
And I can't forget, I'm thankful for friends that aren't near anymore, but are still close in my heart. The YO Crew: Dylan, Joelle, Nicky P, Mathias, Frankie. The JV Crew, Sam, Julian, Chris B, Dan A. And on the other side of JV who can forget Ashley DiSalvo. She had credit on my development as a person, but she knows that. She always will.

Thanks So Much.

Happy Thanksgiving!

So what happened the past two years? 2006, 2007... what happened? Just gone, no records of anything for Thanksgiving.

I wish I could say that I have a lot to be thankful for again this year, but honestly... not everything is going well.

I am thankful for my direct family for always staying true.

My Way [25 Nov 2008|09:26pm]
Right, so...

Still dreaming about imaginary girlfriends, waking up with that same amazing feeling. Still going through the day to feel the optimism slowly diminish. Still got bags under my eyes, my sleep schedule consists seven hour increments, still waking during peaks  of my REM sleep. So what does this all mean? I've considered sleeping pills, but I see how my mom is and I don't want to go down that route.

Got $75 worth of gift cards to Shop Rite for Thanksgiving from CRHC. This place has to be one of the best places I've ever worked. I mean $75 is a lot of money. I figure, most secret Santa things are usually limited to $20 at other offices... and every employee at CRHC got $75 for food... and this is just for Thanksgiving! I can't imagine what'll happen during the real holiday time. Not to forget the $100 gas cards we all received in the summer... generosity is awesome, but I do realize Dr. Teitelbaum will use it all as a tax write-off... I'm not stupid, but I am thankful for the gifts.

Worked on how I want my quarter-sleeve to look on my arm. I opted to not go for a complete shoulder work-up because I don't know if I want that much ink on one part of my body. It may look weird later on.

My Giants jersey should be coming in next Monday.

I made another MySpace again.

Crazy urge to write music again.

Spark.

It Started So Easy [16 Nov 2008|11:40pm]
...you'll want to carry on..

HELLO FOLKS.

>Start transmission..._

>Clearing this little space on the internet out, sorry folks, but that's the way the spork bounces. I took a bit of time this weekend to find the roots to Poem a Day and Growth and I read all those entries to find that there is something I've overlooked. Clear direction from an old friend. The following weeks of entries will surely be full of shit that no one wants to hear about, and I'm going to do what should've been done a long time ago. Private journals suck, but I guess it would be better for all of us, yeah?_

>I'm gonna jam out to "Through Being Cool" all week._

>Good luck with future endeavors, godspeed- if god-willing._

>End transmission..._
